Enjoy the Music of SummerStage with a Feltman’s Hot Dog

In case you haven’t heard the news, SummerStage 2018 is making a triumphant return to Coney Island this year! The event brings a rich selection of diverse music to Coney Island performed by bands in various genres, presenting a fantastic opportunity to discover some new musical acts and embrace different styles you may not otherwise be familiar with.

This year, SummerStage’s opening act is one you may be familiar with: Grammy Award-winning rapper, actor, and Brooklyn native Big Daddy Kane. Emerging in the 1980s, Kane released his debut album Long Live the Kane in 1988 which contained the hit “Ain’t No Half-Steppin’ which Rolling Stone magazine listed as one of The 50 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time. Kane will be paying tribute to his debut album which is celebrating its 30th birthday this year.

Federation Sound, Barrington Levy, and Kabaka Pyramid will bring a taste of reggae and dancehall on July 8 followed by the sizzling salsa music performed by Puerto Rican singers Andy Montañez and Tito Rojas. Other musical acts in store include American hip hop group The LOX, electropop singer Quiñ, the jazz stylings of Iamdbb, and many more.

While you’re enjoying the music this summer, don’t forget to drop by Feltman’s and try one of our awesome hot dogs!
